I may have done this on one of my recent clips and it worked out quite nicely, as I couldn't find the beat I wanted in my library and programming it did not seem like something I wanted to spend time doingĪs far as EZ specific the examples on their site sound really good to me. Obviously be careful with downloading random files off the net. One thing you could also do (instead of looking in EZD land) is if you have a song in mind with the beat you are looking for search for a midi file and extract the drum track out of it and import it into your project. They are editable as well as drag and drop-able. I went to look at some expansion packs today and I thought they were $90? I went and spent $5 at Ugritone and just used those insteadĮZ has some great drum riffs. A lot of people seem to bag on EZD and maybe they are right to do so? It works for me. I have the drumkit from hell and modern/vintage beats it comes with.
